The 9.8ft Air Cushioned Light Stand, with its upgraded air cushion design and sturdy metal build, provides exceptionally stable support for photography devices. Compared to traditional spring-loaded stands, the air-cushioned design protects equipment from abrupt drops, minimizes shakes, and avoids finger pinches when adjusting the stand height. Its maximum vertical load capacity is 11lb/5kg.

The stand comes with a 35"/89cm to 61"/155cm extendable boom arm. The arm can be freely swiveled and tilted for different angles, and secured with separate tilt, pan, and arm lock knobs. One end of the arm features a comfortable cushioned grip, while the other end has a stainless steel 1/4" threaded screw to connect other devices. The maximum horizontal load capacity is 11lb/5kg.

To add extra stability, the stand includes a 1KG counterweight and a sandbag (empty). These can be placed on the tripod legs to improve overall stand stability and prevent it from tipping over, or hung on one end of the arm with the included metal hook to balance the boom arm when holding heavy objects.

Adjusting the stand height is simple, as the 4-section telescopic column can be extended from 42"/106cm to 9.8'/3m and secured at the desired height with locking knobs. The two-section telescopic boom arm ranges from 35"/89cm to 61"/155cm in length. The collapsible design and rubber padded feet make the stand easy to carry and compatible for both outdoor and indoor shooting.

The light stand features a double-ended, 1/4" to 3/8" reversible screw adapter on the top, compatible with a wide range of photography devices, including DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, ring lights, LED panel lights, and microphones.
